QUARD ® and QUEND ® to be presented at the IMME

NLMK Europe - Plate is present from 16 till 19 November 2016 at the 13th International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME), the largest trade fair in India dedicated to the mining industry. As stated by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India's Premier Business Association organizing the fair, the Indian mining sector plays a pivotal role in the country's infrastructure and economy: globally, India ranks 2nd in Chromite, 3rd in Coal & Lignite and Bauxite, 4th in Iron ore and 5th in Manganese. This exhibition takes place in a context of emphasis on technological solutions that is supposed to lead to cleaner exploration, safer mining practices and tool efficiencies. To that extent, the presence of the abrasion resistant steels Quard® and the high yield strength steels Quend®, produced at NLMK Clabecq, makes perfect sense as these steels enable the OEM’s to increase their productivity.
