QUARD

Description

QUARD is a WEAR RESISTANT STEEL known for its excellent resistance to abrasion and impact. It is commonly used in applications that require durable and wear-resistant materials, such as construction equipment, mining machinery, and transportation components. aS A high-strength steel, QUARD offers a balance of hardness and toughness, making it suitable for withstanding harsh environments and extending the lifespan of the products it is used in.

Product advantages

QUARD plates are delivered with conventional hardness of 400 HB (QUARD 400), 450 HB (QUARD 450), and 500 HB (QUARD 500) and 5500 HB (QUARD 500).
For the most demanding users, QUARD PRO combines a hardness near QUARD 500 with a similar workability to QUARD 450.

QUARD is available with thicknesses ranging from 3.2 mm to 64 mm and widths from 1,500 to 3,100 mm (more information hereunder).
